Las Vegas, NV — January 6, 2026 — At CES 2026, Valerion by AWOL Vision announces the integration of its groundbreaking Anti-Rainbow Effect (Anti-RBE) technology across its entire premium long-throw projector lineup. Delivered via a firmware update (with phased OTA rollout support), this enhancement elevates the Valerion portfolio to deliver an even more engaging and powerful viewing experience.
Valerion is the premium sub-brand of AWOL Vision. Together, the two brands deliver best-in-class home entertainment solutions, with AWOL Vision renowned for its ultra-short-throw (UST) RGB laser projectors designed for sleek, space-saving setups, and Valerion redefining premium long-throw projection with cinematic systems that transform living rooms, basements, and man caves into immersive home-cinema experiences. Together, they form a complete lineup that meets every entertainment need across four distinct environments: home theater, living room theater, man cave, and backyard cinema.
Initially unveiled on Valerion’s flagship VisionMaster Max, the Anti-RBE breakthrough set a new industry benchmark by eliminating up to 99.99% of rainbow effects. This visual phenomenon, caused by rapid color separation, can appear as distracting flashes of red, green, and blue that interrupt the viewing experience.
To eliminate this distraction, Valerion’s Anti-RBE technology increases the projector’s refresh rate and applies advanced image-processing algorithms that blend color sequences at speeds imperceptible to the human eye. The result is a smooth, unified image that effectively removes the rainbow effect while preserving image clarity, brightness, and motion sharpness—delivering a more immersive viewing experience and reducing eye strain for greater comfort during extended sessions.

Starting 6 January, Anti-RBE will be integrated at no additional cost into Valerion’s existing range, including VisionMaster Pro, VisionMaster Pro 2, StreamMaster Plus, and StreamMaster Plus 2. These models, along with the flagship VisionMaster Max, will be on display throughout CES at the Valerion booth, LVCC, Central Hall, Booth 20410.
Firmware Update Availability & Guidance Anti-RBE will roll out in phases, and availability may vary by unit and production batch. Enabling Anti-RBE requires completing the full two-part firmware update described in the Valerion Firmware Release Note:
- Android system firmware (via OTA when pushed to your device, or manual download if OTA is not yet available)
- DLP display engine firmware (manual download and installation) Please follow the recommended update order in the guide. Updating Android alone may not enable Anti-RBE until the DLP firmware is also updated.
